After graduating from SUNY Geneseo with a B.A. in Communications (Business Studies track), and a minor in Sociology, Janita received her real estate license just two years later and now joins Harlem Loft as an Executive Assistant to Robert “Robb” Pair.

Janita’s experience is expansive, but her passion for real estate began with her work in construction consulting as a project manager assistant, where she oversaw the details of the varied projects that came into the door. She would later work with the ABA in coordinating large-scale events for dispute-resolution matters, including mediations and litigations.

Janita has thus come into the industry armed with an understanding of business, investments, marketing, and sales. Cognizant of the fact that we work primarily with sellers, she has built strong relationships with our property owners, buyers, attorneys, developers, investors, and tenants. Her time with the sales department also allowed her to build bonds with mortgage brokers, expeditors, appraisers, hard money lenders, and with key organizations like the Housing Preservation Department and the Department of Buildings.

Her dedication and attention to detail provide you with the best possible service in the field. Without a doubt, when Janita says “I got it,” she has it.

Born and raised in New York, Janita currently resides in Washington Heights. She enjoys traveling and spending time with loved ones. In her spare time, she loves taking her nieces to Central Park for a stroll or to the mall for shopping sprees!
